An event with a difference. Where you get to make a difference.

2020 has thrown everything at us and we have all responded so well and adapted quickly to the changes that have been needed to keep us safe and well. But cancer didn’t stop for COVID-19 and we have had to make many changes to how we deliver our support and services.

We have also had to make changes to our event this year, and we are incredibly excited to be adding another chapter to the iconic history of the Cancer Society Ball – it’s a different name this year and a different style, but what hasn’t changed is the importance of this event to raise funds for the Cancer Society to allow us to continue to provide our support and services.

What You Can Expect On The Night

The evening will be an opportunity for Cantabrians to dust off those dancing shoes, dry-clean those black ties and enjoy a night of cocktails, canapes, dancing and of course giving. You will experience an evening of glamour, an evening to mingle and network, an evening of wonderful live entertainment and exquisite food showcasing local artists and businesses, and an evening to support the Cancer Society.

This year we say goodbye to the tables of 10 and instead have multiple spaces for guests to wander throughout the evening taking time from dancing to rest in our luxe-style lounge areas. There will be no shortage of entertainment with interactive surprises, live music and an opportunity to really kick off those dancing shoes.
