This year more than 24,000 New Zealanders will learn they have cancer. Cancer didn’t stop for COVID-19 and neither did the Cancer Society.

We continue to provide the services that are vital for those going through the most challenging of times. This year has thrown everything at us, and we have had to make changes to how we deliver our services to ensure that we are there for those with cancer in our community.

This year we have also changed our fundraising gala event and are delighted to present The Party – an event with a difference, where you get to make a difference. All proceeds from the event, the live auction, silent auction, Golden Ticket raffle and other activities throughout the evening will go directly to our Canterbury West-Coast Division of the Cancer Society.

We could not provide our much-needed services and programmes in the community without your special support of our annual event.

When buying a ticket to The Party you continue to endorse our work to provide hope for those 65 New Zealanders each day who receive a cancer diagnosis. Living with cancer can be very hard, but finding help and support shouldn’t be, and your attendance will ensure we can be there to support those people who hear the words you have cancer.

We won’t stop, because cancer doesn’t stop, and people need us more than ever.
